　武俠片「天地英雄」強勢問鼎明年奧斯卡最佳外語片。（博偉電影）

　繼「臥虎藏龍」、「雙瞳」兩部備受好評的作品後，美國哥倫比亞公司又將推出另一部華語片鉅獻「天地英雄」，由大陸國寶級演員姜文、趙薇以及日本演技派演員中井貴一主演，擅長拍攝史詩武俠片的導演何平編導，被認為是繼「臥虎藏龍」後，問鼎奧斯卡機會極佳的重量級影片。

　「天地英雄」描述一個發生在盛唐時期邊關大漠的傳奇故事。敘述姜文飾演的戍邊李校尉因違抗軍令而被朝廷通緝。日本遣唐使來棲奉命前往西域緝拿李校尉。兩人相遇後，一場打鬥不分高下，由於李校尉答應守護遣返長安的駱駝商隊，來棲毅然答應李校尉等到他護送商隊回到長安後，再擒拿他歸案。返回長安的途中，兩人碰上覬覦商隊的土匪，李校尉和來棲這才發現，原來商隊所運輸的寶物，並不是他們想像的如此尋常。

　趙薇在「天地英雄」裡是萬綠叢中一點紅的角色，她飾演的將軍女兒，因故被捲入前往長安的駱駝商隊，與一群鐵漢在沙漠中奔波。趙薇在電影中的戲份雖然不多，但表現十分搶眼，且片中的古裝造型，楚楚動人。

　擅長拍攝史詩武俠片的導演何平，對中國絲路的故事相當有興趣，他認為絲路不是僅是中西文化交流的聖地，更是中國抵抗內憂外患的關鍵地段，從古至今，應有許多血淚史在絲路發生，這也是他創作「天地英雄」的理由。

　「天地英雄」預告片已經在全省各大戲院播出，觀眾可以透過預告片看到大漠風情，感受這部史詩鉅獻的磅礡氣勢，影片預定十月四日在全省上映。
