Subject: The New Hawks Fan

I have just recently heard the "Heal" and "Honor" CD's and i just had to say, John you are truely the master of music. This is the most incredible music i have ever heard. The sounds truely do touch my heart and soul. I subsequently purchased those two CDs, and plan on purchasing the rest now that i have heard the excerps.

The closest thing i can compare this beautiful music to is Asian instrumentals/traditional musics. Anyone can hear some of that particular music at Pacific Moon Records, http://www.pacificmoon.com, a distributer of many CDs that offer different 'blends' of asian music. But John i really have to say that among the large collection of Asian music i hold, your music is 12 steps over it.

I wish you continued success, and really do hope that you produce many more CDs. It's a real shame that i didn't discover this so much sooner, or else i would have gladly driven to attend the Nov. 17th Dearborn, MI performance. Now i can only hope that your 2005 schedule will hit a place not terribly far from home. Hehe, if i tutored history i would definately look into the booking process. But who knows, perhaps paths shall cross, or perhaps they never will, but i will continue to enjoy your music either way.

In Love and Light,
Rikua
(Heather J.)
