Subject: SFMRC / ACSC Trial Thanks

Sam Mannion, without your help, the trial would not have been nearly so organized, and the field would not have looked near as nice as it did! You were instrumental in making it all happen and we truly appreciate it. You were also an excellent Deputy Judge :) We would be hard pressed to find someone so willing to pitch in and help with all the dirty work and so good at field design :))

Sam also contributed a TON of stuff out of her own pocket (retrieve items, distractions on the field, and much, much more) and I'm sure spent a great deal of time brainstorming and going through many different stores. Sam - thank you very much for all your hard work.

Also a HUGE Thank You to our decoys - Isai Rodriguez, Ed Reynolds, and Michael Ellis. I had never had the opportunity to see Isai and Ed decoy prior to the trial and all I can say is that they were spectacular!! Both were excellent at testing the dogs at the appropriate level and were extremely safe and talented. They worked hard and long for the seminar and a two day trial and never once complained. Also, Ed stepping in last minute so that Michael could trial was a huge help which we all greatly
appreciated. Ed also worked Sam's bulldog after the trial and gave Youngblood some great new ideas. Michael was great as always - his work is always amazing. He knows me and my dog well and yet didn't hold anything back in testing us appropriately - something I truly appreciate.

Ann Putegnat was a big help as well both before the trial in answering my endless questions (!:), and in helping everything flow smoothly. I'm so glad she was able to join us and trial her dog Smokey. Her expertise was
extremely helpful.

I don't know that we could have had a trial without Sharon Novak as well. She provided the broad jump, hurdle, tons of temporary fencing, retrieve items, field props and distractions and much much more. She pitched to to
help set up and was always ready to lend a hand. And she is doing an incredible job of reporting on the trial. Thank you!!!!

Our Judge, Margaret McKenna, was spectacular!! She helped all of us get the scores we obtained through her very thorough seminar. She also was strict and fair in trial as well. On and off the field, she was a blast to talk to!
I'm so glad we brought her in - even if there wasn't a trial, her training contributions were invaluable. She made my dog pass. We were no where near
ready and I had fully planned to not trial him. But she made us get out there and work hard during the seminar and made it come together. I owe a great deal to her. Margaret's companion, Jean Claude, joined us. He is a
Belgian Ring decoy and extremely experienced. He offered some very helpful tips to the handlers and decoys.

Many other people didn't hesitate to pitch in and help things run smoothly: Michele Gardner, Candy Eggert, Leri Hanson, Glenn Salamanca, Cindy Sanchez, our Schutzhund Club members: Susan Hutson (our Trial Secretary), Donna Bovee
(cooked and donated chili), Claudia Howard(helped with taking all the trash to the dump), Colleen (donated cookies), (and a huge thanks to ACSC for letting us make the field temporarily look like a three ring circus!), our
Dogs' in White belonging to: Jennifer and Felix Sunga, Glenn Salamanca, Kathy O'Brian, Art Garcia, and last but not least, Jason Scobbie for making countless runs to the store during the seminar and helping out in many
different ways, and Jason and Glenn Stephenson for helping to set up the palisade the day before the trial.

I hope I did not leave anyone out. I really am grateful for all the wonderful contributions to making this trial so successful. San Francisco Mondioring Club consists of myself, Augusta Farley, and Youngblood. So you can see that it really did take the kindness, support, and selfless efforts of others to make it happen.

I was truly proud of all our efforts when Jean Claude and Margaret commented on the excellent layout of the field, and how nice the calibre of the dogs trialing was. It was a very nice compliment. I hope our future trials will be as successful and enjoyable.

Sincerely,
Laura Harris
