Subject: Switching from Schutzhund to Mondio Ring

I have a three year old Dobermann bitch, who will be going for her SchH III soon (?) I'd like to still trial in Schutzhund but try a new training challenge, like maybe Mondio? I'm mainly concerned about going from sleeve to suit and how to make the transition? Our club decoy was certified to do French ring, so I'm
covered as far as a decoy is cncerned. He thinks that it is would be too difficult to switch to legs and that we'd be better to train her for upper body bites on a jacket? So, agree or disagree? Any training ideas or suggestions? We gave her some arm and shoulder bites on a jacket last weekend, the only trouble was targeting, especially with the shoulder bite, she was getting close to the neck. Also she didn't like the intense "hovering" and wrapping the arms around, that the decoy is likely to do at a trial. I'm hoping (thinking) that this was only the first time on a jacket and that with more exposure and training she'll get used to it?
