Subject: Re: peripheral neurophathy and lupus

I have both peripheral neuropathy and lupus, and only found out by raising hell at San Antonio's Frank Tejeda Out-patient VA Clinic. Normally, as a "Agent Orange registrant", which is actually a misleading ruse used by VA, you are given a two-vile blood test which is useless. There is actually no test which can detect the presence of agent orange or dioxin in your system. Somewhere, I read about the real test, which consists of about 12 vials, and they check your liver function, kidney function, which along with most other organs, are damaged by dioxin etc, but the reason they do not offer this is because it is "very expensive," supposedly around $1,500. I think, that any vet who was unknowingly doused with deadly chemicals by his government deserves at least that much. Also, check out this web: http://www.rox.com/j/articles/dioxins/dioxinl.html and take it to your doctor and insist that he read at least the first page. Good luck and God bless.
