REPLY: I was in VN in 1965. I hope you have found out that Lupus is a side effect of Dioxin, which also causes Peripheral Neuropathy, and damages your liver, kidneys, lungs, heart, etc. I have all of these. You might also be interested in knowing that we were also sprayed with arsenic and 13 other chemicals.
I have done a lot of research, and have a stack of paperwork on this subject. If anyone was stationed in Panama, Thailand, Korea, Eglin AFB Florida, Ft Detrich MD or Camp Drum NY, and have these symptoms, I have read that the government experimented with agent orange at these places also. You might write to your congressman. Hopefully, He or she will have the back-bone to try to change the law to include these places for possible treatment and/or compensation.
