I was a with the 635 Security Police Sq K-9 Det on duty when the B-52 in question landed and due to it truck at a angle was heading to towards the KC-135 Tanker area. We recieved a report from the tower that only 4 engines were working and had two 750 pound bombs hung on the right MER.
The aircraft lifted off to go around and as it did it lost power and crashed off base. My position at the time was in the area of Tango 44A behind the Mess Hall near the end of the runway.
