Date Posted: 13:17:51 03/03/04 Wed In reply to: Joe Gordon 's message, "Re: RES" on 08:05:03 03/03/04 Wed Joe as Frank explained all the three teams train at the school during the winter months, and for there assistance were thankful, so with these facilities in mind realistic match training it will not be, but 2 areas we can concentrate on are fitness and individual ball skills, in recent years the step up from reserves to 1st team has been a bit of a culture shock physically for our young players, until the last year where there training has been more physically demanding, now when the Manager asks to see a player they tend to stick around for a while, carl osman, gaz birchall, jay mccane, spanner, craig cameron, ste dee, with promising youngsters, ryan wallace, paul rogers, gaz berkley, chris cogger, all waiting for the nod, all these players under went the rigorous pre season training with the reserves and showing the benefits already yes we are the fittest team in the league and we should be? to finish off if you have any pull with santa please tell him i asked for an all weather pitch with floods this year!! Hope that helped [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
