I think all told we would've struggled to meet any deadlines, although with our circumstances there may have been some leeway. The unfair part of it all is that restructuring has come a season or two too early for us, and perhaps the powers that be should consider clubs that have shown stability over a period of years rather than just in one season. I believe a lot of clubs have overstretched their budgets by a mile, and will struggle to make the transition to Unibond. Indeed some clubs just don't have the fan base to survive without their sugar daddies, and what happens if they pull the plug? It would be a travesty for instance if Mossley fail to gain promotion. They have performed consistently over the years, and have had a healthy playing budget & support all along. They've also maintained their stadium to a high level, and they haven't put a quick fix in to get promotion like others.
