Indeed the letter was mine.

I didn't expect Clitheroe to lose either, but apparently they weren't at the races. Mind you I think they thought they had it in the bag. Certainly many fans were talking about who they'd get in the next round. Apparently Devizes played above themselves, as often is the case with so called 'underdogs'.

I'm off to Clitheroe tonight hoping that the extra-time they played will have knackered them. Although I suspect it could have the opposite effect now they have gone out of the Vase. Most Skem fans were hoping the game would go into extra-time and that Clitheroe would win or the game be replayed, with the idea being that they would have their minds on other things.

We always get a good game at Shawbridge, but it hasn't always been a great hunting ground for us in the past. They've done the League double over us this season, so you could so they owe us. Nevertheless, I don't think they will see it that way.

On another point. I'm hoping the responses on this message board will get bigger, once it is advertised in my next fanzine.
