I'm glad to air all opinions..that's the general idea of having the forum. It's great that United's fans now have somewhere to go and have a moan. I got sick of seeing other clubs sites, and thought it was high time that we had one of our own.

Anyway back to the point! I've mentioned the problems with having a white kit before, but I do understand your point about Skem's heritage. Had I been old enough to witness United wearing white at Wembley then perhaps I would be able to sympathize with you even more. The facts are; as I've said before I don't have any direct dealings with the club, as I'm not on the committee...I'm a fan first and foremost. Nevertheless, I put your points forward to Arthur Gore, and although he didn't shut the door firmly, nor did he leave it ajar!!! I think the best route now would be to rally some kind of support for the future. United are now committed to the new outfits...and depending on the future financial climate of the club, they could be wearing it for several seasons.

I guess the bottom line on the subject is...the committee didn't consider a White kit as an option.

Incidentally...did you forget the mud bath at Whitemoss Park last season whan we played Warrington Town?
