Yes I agree that many of the religions (especially the earlier ones) adopted similar practices and beliefs. I, myself, believe that God put many religions on the planet to see who would understand that we are still all ONE and whoever respects all religions, in addition to doing good and being spiritual rather than religious may have found the Truth.

I am Persian and can tell you since i was a child all i felt was that i am somehow connected to christianity eventhough i grew up with the muslim culture. i only could undrestand the language of christianity which is close to Mithra.even though they were trying o brain wash me. but i had connection in heart.
