Here is some more interesting information about the IGHS. As far as the conferences, I spoke there every year. The speakers get paid nothing, in fact one author did not bring his wife. When I asked where his wife was he said he had to pay for her to attend so he kept her home. This same author was asked to speak at last years conference, when the IGHS found out he was speaking atanother conferecne who the IGHS considers anti the author was told he was not needed at the IGHS conference. The conference each year ends earlier, last year it started at 9 am on saturday and ended at 3 pm. It started on sunday at 9 am and ended at noon. Sunday is spent sharing photos with everyone but most people have already left. So you actually paid $80.00 per person for a 6 hour event and take the breaks and lunch away and you had an actuall conference that lasted about 4 hours. Dr. Dave delivers the same speech each year and lately has become more of a sermon. I have yet to see Rev. Sharon finish a speech becaues she gets to emotional. Last year no one knew who was speaking and I didn't even know what time I was speaking till the day I got there, they didn't want to list who was speaking so people wouldn't find out that authors such as Mark Nesbitt and Ed Okonowicz would not be there. One guy even e-mailed the IGHS to find out 3 or 4 times to find out who was speaking he was never responded to so he didn't go, he wasn't going to spend money when he didin't know who was going to be there.They now have to rely on their own Inner Circlemembers since they have tossed me and other authors to the side. 90% of these so called Inner Circle members have been in active for years and another 5% still can't tell the diferance between dust and genuine orbs. There are just a couple who may take it serious. Once you disagree with the IGHS you are magically removed from membership. In their certiified course they mention they are the first society to endorse the thermal scanner. yet a few weeks ago in their on line newsletter they claim to be the first to use it, this is incorrect. Troy Taylor of the American Ghost Society had intorduced Dr. Dave to the thermal scanner. Most were not aware of it till I talked about it at the conference yet the IGHS was the first. Most of the equipment used by the IGHS was shown to them by others. I was the first to use the digital camera, digital recorder and a motion sensor, now they claim to be the first when I showed it to them. The most the IGHS has come up with are their own theories and beliefs many which are questionable, it is here where they draw the line. You are to accept this or you are considered anti IGHS. But they offer no evidence, remember everything we know about ghosts are only theories so which one is correct. Many of the photos on the ghostweb are also questionable, one as of lately shows the same ring of ecto in a couple of photos taken in differant areas, why would the same image show up in each picture, my opinion its nothing paranormal. One photo a few years ago showed an insect, you could clearly see the wings when the photo was enlarged, my assitant Karl Silvius e-mailed Dr. Dave and told him it was an insect. He responded to Karl by saying that it was genuine and that Karl was missing out on a great paranormal experience. Then months later Dr. Dave photographed his own insect and it was similar to the first photo. He presented it as an insect and warned others to becareful of photographing insects. He would not take the word of others and until he himself took the photo. He has a photograph from a pet cemetery claiming it is a portal opening, but this photo was taken from a moving vehicle which would show hundreds or orbs. I know the guy who took the photo, he left my house and on his way home driving by the pet cemetery he took the photo. The IGHS is now tired of photographs and orbs but don't mind charging you to view them on their website. The IGHS is fearful now of others since people are onto them and soon they will be history. Sorry for the long letter but felt the need to let others know.
