I think I remember you from our board. Still haven't got the hang of the manners thing, huh? Anywho, keeping a website running, updated, and interesting takes a lot of work and time. A few mis-spelled words does not make the whole thing bad. Why don't you simply overlook the few mistakes and enjoy what the site has to offer?
Secondly, posting "We were unable to detect any activity" does not magically make the information more believable. Granted, maybe it does for someone like you. But the majority of visitors enjoy reading the story of the "good" investigations. Mixing in a whole bunch of standard info (location, weather, names and dates) then only typing "We came, we looked, we found zilch" is boring. Perhaps when there is a good amount, they vcould be displayed on a separate page, all on their own.
