Date Posted: 00:37:15 09/15/03 Mon hello. your board is oh so active. i just wanted to thank you guys for putting on a such a great show saturday night. i'm so busy with Falcon that i hardly ever get to go to shows other than the ones they play, so it was really awesome to get to see someone other than falcon play AND enjoy it. i still can't believe that fall that Brandon took off the stage. that railing is what, 5 feet high? even after i found out he was ok, i was still scared. Joe, the lead singer of Falcon can't stand to be upstaged by anyone. i was sure he was going to end up doing something extremely stupid and hurting himself, just becuase he "had to do it better". it was funny as soon as brandon stood up and said he was ok, i turned around to joe and i looked at him and in all seriousness i said "you ARE NOT doing that!". but hey, you know how it is deal with lead singers. damn the whole "lead singer" syndrom!! i end up spending most of falcon shows scared shitless because he gets really drunk and does stuff like hang from the rafters above the stage and jump on tables and chairs and i'm always tense, just waiting for him to fall and break something, like his head. ok, but anyways, the show was really awesome. i really enjoyed the covers of Sweet Caroline and Time After Time (TAT being one of my favorate songs and also probably the first real song i ever knew all the words to back when i was like 4 or 5). The originals rocked and i'm definitly planning on coming to a few shows whenever i can (i like that you don't just play on friday and saturday...since those nights are usually filled up with falcon shows) and i'll be sure to pick up the cd's....maybe a shirt. i don't have very many band shirts, only three to be exact (avail, gadjits, falcon), and i have to REALLY like a band to own one of their shirts and actually wear it. so i'll have come to a few more shows before i make up my mind on that one. ok, but anyways, this is way too long now and i still have a post to make on the falcon message board that i've been putting off. so, thanks again for playing saturday. and i'll definitly see you guys next time you play the brewery with falcon, but i think i can manage to come to atleast one show between now and then, we'll see. -Rachael "falcon's merch bitch" www.falconfive-o.com [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
