In case anybody didn't hear, the Samurai (home to OKC's hair metal bands for 23 years) finally closed up shop for good two weeks ago. 12 Pearls played there four (five?) times, the last time in November with Space Cadet. It was a fun place, but its time had definitely come.
Feel free to post your favorite Samurai memories on our board. Mine would have to be the 12p show with 36 Inches in 2001 when these thirty-something guys got up on stage without shirts on and kept demanding Jager shots while their audience of four swooned. "Hound Dog love to eat P***y!!"
