I've been playing around a bit too much with QLaunch on my Treo 600. Three of its special features, "Toggle Alarm Sound", "Toggle All Sound", "Set AutoSilence", have the effect of toggling sounds for a specified period of time, or until they are turned on again.
I seem to have silenced my alarm sounds completely. DateBk5 does not make any noise when an alarm goes off, and Bob's Alarm reports that "Alarm sound is turned off."
QLaunch's Toggle Alarm Sound always displays "Alarm Sound Enabled", so the toggling doesn't appear to work, and I'm suspecting that this special isn't configured to work properly on the Treo 600. I've also toggled all sounds and alarm sounds to on.
The volume control on the top of my Treo is set to on, of course.
I assumed that I could fix this problem by going to Preferences. The General tab has System Sound and Game Sound, both of which I've set to Medium. The Sound tab, Calendar Application has Alert Volume set to 4.
All of my other sounds (system beeps, pTunes MP3s, phone rings, game sounds) are playing correctly.
