The still form of one of the 'statues' turned a fiery gaze upon the soul that had entered the beloved Wolfbane's lands. Unblinking, it remained watching, barely breathing even as the form of 'Letha' settled among the statues in which Demon had made his companion over the past moments. Years, days? He didn't know how much time had gone by-he was visited by his siblings once in a while, and Demon highly doubted it was because they cared. They were waiting for him to return to the Camp, though he wouldn't. At least, not yet.

He had first heard her slow, rhythmic heartbeat a while ago-normally he wouldn't have, but WolfBane's Temple seemed to heighten his sensitivity for some unknown reason. Instinctively he guessed it was Letha, though her scent seemed a bit different than before. Memories flashed back, bits and pieces of their previous encounter filtering through his mind. No, it wasn't Letha, not the original feeble-looking vixen pup. It was the Other. Briefly he inhaled, noticing that his and her scent were the predominant ones, the others being of limestone and crumbling dust. For now he remained silent, knowing that she would eventually spot/scent him, simply watching and surveying the femme intently with his crimson-tinged orbs.
