The wolfess grinned faintly as she caught Demon's scent, then noticed without looking directly at him that there was one statue too many. Turning her head toward the row opposite the male, she looked at the figures as if she were counting them with her gaze. Orbs stopped on one stone beauty, lingering a moment before she rose to her paws.
Padding towards the target, she passed Demon, a sly grin upon her features as she uttered nothing. Making her way behind the motionless sculpture, the sound of quickly moving fore paws and the sight of flying dirt told she was digging. The only question was why.
A gape in the ground some feet behind the figure was appearing quickly, expanding with every step of the Shadow's ebon paw. Ears were fixed forward, upon her work, intent gaze in a slight scowl as she continued to dig. "Pathetic pup..." she scolded under her breath, "Weak, ignorant, foolish pup..." The Vargess seemed greatly displeased by something, and indeed, she was, finding her current body too weak, dispite obvious fitness. Naturally, she blamed Letha for it.
Eventually her mood lifted again as the faint sound of claw on bone sounded in her ears, a patch of soiled ivory showing through the bottom of her fairly sized hole. She smirked deviously, looking up at Demon for the first time, "Looks like we've found it," she poked at him, though she was sure he didn't care.
Clawing around the prize, she began to unearth what seemed to be the rather large skull of a rather large canine. By the time she ended her excavation, the entire head had been uncovered along with part of the neck. Leaning her head down, the wolfess gripped the base of the spine between crushing jaws. With measured effort, she tore the neck apart, leaving the burried body headless.
Exiting her literal tomb, she sealed it back up much quicker than she had opened it, her skull still held protectively in the cage of the Darkness.
[crappy, late, and i apologize also for my, erm creativeness in digging up a skull, which, to some, might not seem possible for her to know its location, but i assure you, there is a way n.n]
