Also another thing that gives it away to savvy people who want to know, especially with Randi West, they just go to Google (and if they can spell her name right) find out she's on a few stations.

Bang! Suddenly you know it's not "real" and it's a dissappointment.

Now I'm not trying to insult your work, but let's not PLAN on automation being the future. We need to do all we can to PREVENT that from becoming the future.

If you think about it, besides two papers (which use 60% AP stuff anyway), and a few hours on the TV stations, what media is left that has such deep local roots? Why, it's radio!

And frankly, you start pulling those roots, and your stations aren't going to make it.

We'll see. I may be totally wrong, but I sure hope that ANYONE on the board who ever gets into a PD slot, always try to AVOID tracking if possible. It just cheapens the quality of radio.
