I know Randi has her website. We actually have a link to it the KISS website. 971kissfm.com She has customized her site to each station she is on, it's kind of cool! You can only see the custom verson if you link thru the KISS site.

I am one of the biggest radio geeks you will ever meet. And I totally agree with most of what you say. But you and I, and all the others who speak out in this forum are a real small percentage of the radio listening public. I really don't think the aveage 30 year old stay at home mom really cares if the dj she listens to is in SLC or not. She is to busy cleaning the house, taking care of her kids, and living her life. All she wants is to hear her favorite song, and be entertained. And quite honestly anyone can do that.

I'm not saying radio will ever be totally automated, but with all the other forms of media in the world it gets harder to compete every year, and costs more money. Large companies are going to invest in the dayparts they deam important, and automate the rest. I really don't see that changing any time soon. But I guess you never know.
