I'm not sure how voicetracked KCPX is, but that could be one reason for the new slogan. Citadel emphasized how Magic 93.1 was Boise's own "Live and Local" top 40, vs. KISS-FM (KSAS), which at that time took a big surge of ratings but was voicetracked all shifts except afternoons (Rick Dees mornings, Randi West middays, local afternoons, Goatboy nights)....

Now Magic is on top again in Boise. This may be why The End is emphasizing their localness (although their main competitors X96 and KJQ are also local so ???).
