As one who has to deal with translator issues down in southern Utah, the way it works with Arbitron is that the individual station must provide to Arbitron a list of translators that they are broadcast on, the county that the translator(s) serve, and proof that the translator exists (like a copy of the translator license). If Arbitron accpets the information, they will credit dairy entry of a frequency (ie 98.3) only for the county where the translator is licensed. I would tend to think the KARB ratings in the book really do belong to VFX, but if they haven't told Arbitron about the translator, Arbitron will credit the listening to the nearest station it can find on the listed frequency. VFX could try listing it's "station name" something like "94-5/98-3 VFX" but Arbitron would likely reject the name as they will generally only accept names with only the licensed frequncy of the main station (or close to the main frequency ie FM-100). And yes, whoever was asking if Arbitron stopped taking information about specific shows and programming and personalities the answer is yes, they have stopped asking for that information.
