Subject: Simmons Media ruining FM 100 on purpose?

It's myu opinion (arguably) that Simmons is purposely tweaking FM 100 to a pure mainstream AC. I keep hearing songs that in my opinion should never have aired on FM 100. None of them are bad or anything, they just don't fit the sound that most FM 100 listeners expect. The 45 year old listener, who's listened for over 10 years, tunes in hoping to hear his Michael Bolton, Phil Collins, James Taylor, and Rod Steward, and hears....

Game of Love (Michelle Branch/Santana)?
Soak up the Sun (Sheryl Crow)?
All I Wanna Do Is Have Some Fun (Sheryl Crow)?????

There's a whole lot more that just within the last week have been added, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

What's Lance Ballance/Alan Hauge doing over there? It's like they are putting all the eggs in one basket, and want FM 100 to drop right around the spring book.

Hmmm, isn't that about the time they are going to sell the station?

Now I could be all wrong. Maybe I'm just imagining stuff in my mind, but the FM 100 on today, isn't the FM 100 I remember from two years ago. Yeah they need to compete, yeah they need to stay competitive, yes. Maybe it's just time for the next stage in FM 100's evolution. But I think it's going to hurt them in the long run.

Oh well, at least they haven't added Christina Angulera's "Beautiful" yet....ugh......
