They've played this one for years.

Over the past several years they've put "new" songs in high rotation that you wouldn't think on first listen would be an FM-100 type song ("Believe" by Cher, "Sometimes" by Britney Spears, "Torn" by Natalie Imbruglia). From what I've seen this is a trend with mainstream AC's nationwide, which makes sense. They want attract younger listeners, while keeping their base audience.
