MONEO allows to pay for amounts up to € 30. It is available for most bank cards and for several other cards. MONEO is now being progressively installed in all French regions: it will be available in Paris and its region in November 2002 and should cover the whole French territory by late 2003. ------------------------------------------------------------ The certified SAGEM 900 payment terminals are equipped with two interfaces, keypad and display: one interface is dedicated to the shop owner’s information, the other interface to the customers’, who can then follow and validate the ongoing transaction, view the statement of their account or directly reload their electronic purse from the payment terminal. SAGEM is one of the first manufacturers to sell payment terminals with this customer interface. ----------------------------------------------------------- The SAGEM 900 range comprises a comprehensive suite of infrared wireless terminals, DECT and GSM terminals. This wide product range allows SAGEM to offer the electronic purse service to all types of retailers, especially those without access to a fixed-line telephone infrastructure, such as street vendors, newspaper stands, markets, exhibitions, etc. This major customer advantage should facilitate further development of this new easy-to-use and secure payment method. ----------------------------------------------------------- Groupe SAGEM is an internationally-based high-technology group.
