Hi John,

I have purchased a ZZR250 about 3 months ago. I am still a Learner in the world of motorbikes.

When measuring the chain slack, the service manual says to measure this slack from the center of the longest unsupported travel of the chain. So if there are more links on the bottom, measure the chain from the bottom.

Hope this helps

cheers,
Matthew
