I'm a fan of Last Comic Standing, but I agree that it seems that those chosen for "the house" were chosen more so because they would be interesting "characters" in the house as opposed to actually being funny. I do think there are some funny people left in the competition like Chris Porter (the frizzy-haired guy), the girl who says she looks like Mr. Burns when she comes out of the shower naked and Bil Dwyer.

This show has always been laced in controversey. The worst incident being when the celebrity judges (Drew Carey, Rhett Butler and this season's host Anthony Clarke) complained that the people they voted for were not picked. 2 comics (Ant and Gary Gulman) were placed in the house because the producer of the show just happened to be their agent. Later, Jay Mohr got punched in the face by Gary Gulman. The 3rd season featured the season 1 vs. season 2 and ended up getting buried on Comedy Central. I guess we shouldn't expect too much considering the show's track record.

I wish the show was just to find the funniest comics. I don't find Roz that funny. "I got problems". How many times are we going to have to hear that? I feel the majority of these comics are performers as opposed to actually being funny. I like Jacob Blue, the comedian with cerebral palsy, but he's a gimmick act.

I'm going to keep watching and keep my fingers crossed.
