First off, Tony Jaa is pretty frickin' amazing. One of the main selling points of the film was no wire-work, so the things Jaa does are that much more impressive. He is nowhere near as fluid as Bruce Lee, but he is really smooth and aggresive, not so frenetic like Jet Li or Jackie Chan. The plot is vaguely reminiscent of IJ and the Temple of Doom with a dash of Bloodsport. Jaa is trying to recover a sacred statue for his village, but kind of gets sucked into an underground fighting club, which then sort of gets him wrapped up with a local crime boss. Anyway, the plot is just a means to get Jaa into all sorts of cool fights and they are pretty kick ass. I was kind of confused at the end though as I couldn't tell if Jaa's cousin died or returned to the village to be ordained. So if you've seen it, tell me what you think. But anyway, a pretty good movie.
