I just saw the movie this weekend.

I did like it, but I think I had gotten my hopes too high. I'm a big fan of Steve Carell, and am very happy that this movie has become the break-out point of his career.

However, I've really gotten tired of bathroom humor in movies. Don't get me wrong. I'm not a prude. I just think ever since "There's Something About Mary" (which is one of my favorite all-time comedies), Comedies in general have relied too much on gross-out and dildo humor.

I'm not offended by it, but I guess I just think it's too simplistic and not very creative.

I did like much of the writing of the movie, and Carell did a great job. It just wan't quite as good as I was hoping, after all of the hype.
