I was prepared to hate this movie but, alas, I really liked it. Let's face it: No one looks like Johnny or June. No one sings like Johnny or June. So no matter who they cast they would either have to put on heavy make-up and lip-synch or they would look like they look and sing like they sing. Joaquin and Reese Witherspoon did the latter and I think the film was better for it. The film is a warts and all biopic of the two star-crossed lovers and it's faithful to everything I have read about them both. I truly enjoyed it.
