Subject: Rumors on Indiana Jones 4

Raiders of the Lost Ark is my favorite movie of all time so I have been keeping a close ear (and eye) about the rumors surrounding a possible Indiana Jones 4. Here's what I've come across:

1.) Frank Darabont (of "Shawshank Redemption" fame) wrote a script that Steven Spielberg, who is directing, liked. However, George Lucas, executive producer, didn't like it and rejected it. I think Lucas' judgment towards what works as script and what doesn't is extremely in question after sitting through Star Wars 1 and 2.

2.) The movie will be set in the 50's, to coincide with Harrison Ford's natural aging. In fact, the producers have asked Ford not to work out so much to maintain his flabby, aged appearance.

3.) A possible title for the movie is "Indiana Jones and the Lost Continent", but I reject that title since I believe it is also the title of a IJ video game.

4.) Sean Connery is scheduled to return to the role as Indiana Jones' father. However, Connery is said to be retiring from acting. We'll see.

5.) Darabont's script had a part for a Indiana Jones brother, with Kevin Costner rumored to be playing the part.

Hopefully, this thing will move forward and be released in 2006 as planned.
