I'm actually a big fan of the Crocodile Hunter. Well, I must admit that I don't watch those shows nearly as much as I used to. However, I think it's pretty obvious that the guy knows what he is doing.

At the same time however, as knowledgeable as he is, you never know when something crazy can happen in that type of situation.

I think it was a mistake to do what he did, which I'm sure he realizes himself now. His claim that he was just trying to teach the baby about animal safety didn't help the situation. That would perhaps be okay for a 3 year old... not for an infant.

That being said, I think it should just be chalked up as a lesson for him.
