So basically if we set up a patrol and some gets hurt the HOA could get sued and if they do nothing and someone gets hurt through inactions they can also be sued. Wow no wonder why the HOA took them down. They are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

I am confused like Lori's opening remarks in the prior thread. I was under the impression the patrol was not going to be a confrontational tool. More like an eyes, ears , and nose of the community. I understand there would be times that needs involvements but the ones that I have seen that worked set up a a way where the lines of communication to the the police were open. It was pretty effective in high crime areas.
