I like the idea of moving the posts to the tennis courts. Use one of the courts as b'ball court. That way it would be lit up and secured by a lock already in place.

Take the posts down from the old court and keep it vacant for a while. I would suggest making it into a covered area with picnic tables, but the punks from outside would just use it as a place to drink and smoke at night.
