In reply to: Michael Watkins 's message, "Candidates on CTV Question Period This Sunday (May 11)" on 10:44:37 05/09/03 Fri

I was very disappointed to see that Mr. MacKay failed to join his fellow leadership candidates on CTV's Question Period today.

The MacKay team refusal to join the discussion on Question Period was just spin. Their commentary on the debates so far is hogwash -- all of the debates have been energetic, informative and very useful to members, delegates and Canadians as they try to form opinions.

NONE of the debates have descended to any sort of personal attacks, as even Mr. MacKay himself claims.

I find myself agreeing with what Mr. Orchard said today, if Mr. MacKay can't handle the competition in these debates, how the heck is he going to compete against Paul Martin and the Liberal Machine?
