I guess we disagree because this problem goes back many decades. I farmed for 40 years and the Americans always played hardball in the trade world and we can kiss up to them all we want and they will continue to play hardball until they own this country. You guys go ahead with your nieve view of the world and the US and we will all reap the whirlwind.
I agree that the liberals have set us back worse but this started long before Chrétien. I guess what annoys me is how there is so little regard left for the people who make their living from the primary resources in this country. Most of the people who gain power in this country are to many generations from the farm so to speak. All we really need in this country is a good case of starvation like they had in Europe during the 2nd World War to remind people where their bread is buttered. May that never happen again.
