I wonder if holding the piece up as an example of how to get along with neighbours is really something you should be doing as a senior spokesperson for David Orchard.

In doing so you paint yourself as a "black and white" thinker - everything comes down on one side or another, there is no middle ground in your - and apparently your candidate's mind.

Say a word of support for the USA - and one is painted as a neo-conservative Yankee. But applaud any who critcize the folks to the south.

That is not the sort of leadership we need in Canada.

There's a middle ground that Canadians seek and I don't see you, or your candidate, delivering on that.
