I saw the movie and absolutely hated it. It was so one-sided and bitchy and propoganda that I just got angrier and more annoyed as the movie went on. Don't get me wrong, I hate Bush, but that movie was such biased shit. He said how awful it was that he got the bin laden family out of the US the day after 9/11, but it isn't awful, it's fuckin common sense. The whole family would have been murdered if they werent taken out of the country. He makes it seem that just because Bush wanted to protect an innocent family that he was working with Bin Laden. Fuckin bullshit. No man, unless seriously and sadistically evil, would do such a thing like plan 9/11 so he could go into Iraq. I also hated his connections to the Saudis. I wouldnt have minded if he focused on the fact that Bush is allied with them so they could take over oil in the middle-east and work together to go into Iraq, but instead he decided to relate the Bush-Suadi relationship to terrorism in America. He wanted it to seem like Bush did not care about the terrorism and that he used the relationship with the Saudis to create 9/11 and use that to go into Iraq. Its such bullshit. And then, because he didnt have any more ideas, he decided to put in an hour of anti-war propaganda that tried to make you feel bad so you had to agree with him. I couldnt stand just sitting there looking at the bodies of fallen troops and this woman crying non-stop. I'm not saying I like the senseless killing and don't feel sorry for that woman, but it is such sneaky propaganda. I was mainly pissed that Michael Moore didnt have ANY original ideas in the movie. NOT ONE. He spent forty-five minutes re-telling what Bush did during the last four years. THe Saudi connection had been pointed out, the Bush-Bin Laden connection had been pointed out, nothing he said was that contreversial or new. And because he did not have many ideas, he spent the last hour of the movie saying that he was against war. NO SHIT. I think i speak for all of us when I say that war is bad and we should do our best to avoid it. But Michael Moore has been known for making movies that have startling new facts and ideas, and this did not have any. The only thing I found interesting was the fact that Bush was on vacation for much of his first year and a half in office. This was my rant hate me or agree with me i dont care.
