good god. alex, i know all of the facts you presented. yesterday i went to a 2 hour teach-in about the world's water problems adn solutions. the person giving the teach-in has spent years intensively studying the world's water problems. i took notes. i know all the facts you presented. however, my way of going about saying it was to make it more simple: basically conserve water. that's all i was trying to say. even though i know all of the facts you presented, i was not trying to show off by using large words and verbose sentences (words like verbose.) if you acutally listen to me debate an issue you will see that i am not an idealist, rather a person who has faith in people and their ability to make decisions. you do not need to bite my head of because i present things simply and clearly. i was just at a fuckign water teach-in, and have doen other reseach. i know my shit. believe me, i know the facts. but this is not a political debate forum, and i was not trying to bore you with them. i know as much of what is going on in the world (IF NOT MORE) than you do, i just take an alternate view. radicalism is not misinformation. so for an answer to your question about building a system, i think that we should have a World Water System. there should be an office on every continent (save antartica.) it should be funded by the world bank. the system will distribute free water to everyone and not let any one country hog it (such as canada for instance, who have 3% of the world's drinking water and will not share it with anyone.) just because i think that the time has come for us all to smash capitalism and help out brothers and sisters does not mean that i am a misinformed stupid hippie. i am acutally a quite intelligent, well-informed hippie. just because i do not use long pretentious sentences to make my point does not mean i am not intelligent. remember that, and keep your opinion and anger in check.
