Before you read this, know that I am pro-war. This is the closest thing that i've ever written to my thought style on the phrm: A vicious internal argument of both sides.
i agree with everything that she just said. Might I add, at this point, that it is time for a social revolution? I don't mean a violent overthrow, a mean a sixties-type operation. I've come to the conclusion that every single goddamned leader in the world except maybe japan and the scandahoovian deals, is the world's biggest dousche. simultaneously, they are all the world's biggest dousches. Notable new additions to the dousche list are USA, and France, Germany, and Belgium's total hypocritical bastardness. The countries allied with the USA are probably the least douschey at the moment, but they're still all bad.
Our country is losing its flair. Look at our fearless leaders. RUMSFELD AND ASHCROFT!!!! AAAAH! Aschcroft wouldn't even attend an EU summit because the statues were naked. That's fuckin' reformation style. These guys are old wrinkled bastards who know the world very well in a textbook style situation but have no real knowledge of what is going on. They fight a one-sided war, with no ifs ands r buts. America is losing what we stand for to a gradual corruption. We need fresh blood. We need millions of stupid hippies. See, here's the thing: the way I see it, hippies have a lot of things way off. They're way too idealistic. But without a healthy population of them whining about the faults of America, we will become a horrible country. Their extreme defends our rights. The shoot for the stars, but without them corruption will run rampant. There needs to be a new media company. An ultra liberal one. Currently all information distributed comes from what is known as the "triangle of death"; the media, PR industry, and government distributing THEIR information, not the truth. This usually doesn't bug me, but lately the corruption has gotten horrible. Watch FOX news for half an hour, it's mind warping.
I usually side with the right wing because they get things done but lately they've been fucking retarded. Usually their just comically retarded and its not a real problem. Now they're close to a stranglehold on government. The other two points on the triangle have fallen. Their retardation, which I thought would never come to fruition, is now close to its grim realization
Having now made my official switch back to undecided from a right wing mentality that i've been slipping into, I must say that its necessary for this war to go on.
My reasoning:
The future that must be stopped. I do believe the thing about how he's developing things. I mean why would we go to war other than that? YOu can say oil, but we already have our oil deals with everyone set up for years to come. Thats not a problem.
His first move once getting nukes and delivery system, the one that I percieve, is a joint strike on Israel and a takeover of the much weaker and much more western Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar. These countries would fall like tinkertoys. And by now if we don't like it we can finger our assholes because he's got nukes trained on Kashmir, Ankara, and Jerusalem. They're not above that kind of nipple twisting. Now they own i believe 70% of the world's oil. game over. We either let our economy die and go back to poking sticks in the ground for food or go to nuclear warfare.
The two solutions to this all too likely nightmare scenario are:
1. we could POSSIBLY keep up this inspectors game like La France suggests, but as soon as the eyes were trained away from it the UN would fall back to ineptitude (the UN disarmament commitee's chief for five years was Iraq, and its human rights president is Libya) and when something new arose the inspectors would be thrown out as has happened countless times
2. Surgical strike...WAR. mind you this war would probably last for literally 3 weeks. Afterwards, plenty of weapons would come out, as well stories of saddam eating babies for breakfast and suchlike, and the US's moral ground would be inarguable. This would shut up some douschebags like France and Germany.
So, in conclusion I think that the war is necessary. Now here's where it gets bad.
After we win the war and "safety to the homeland" is restored (aka more people hate us), the republican party will be loved and Bush will be re-elected. FUCK. this guy is an oil baron who has put up no serious attention other than a token effort of 1.5 billion to the abolishing of oil. Oil is the ultimate death of America. WE need it to mantain our way of life. If you guys are gonna claim that that's not true or whatever, turn off all the power in your house for a week and ride a bike everywhere.
With the ende of our dependence on oil, the middle east will literally solve itself as a problem to us, losing its funding and our achilles heel, then becoming a poor wretched place like Africa. At least willing to negotiate. Anyway, except for Qatar, those guys aren't exactly spending the money on the welfare of the people. (Qatar will stay rich because they have a lot of natural gas and pearls, don't worry folks).
By the by, I believe in the non-violent imperialist spread of capitalism and democracy. Once this is achieved world wide we will live in peace and prosperity (capitalism brings more widespread wealth indefinately than any other system, and democracies have never in history gone to war against eachother, and Iraq doesn't count as a democracy because of its laughable election).
So folks, looks like we're gonna be fucked either way till Bush is out, which will be a while. But we'll be slightly less fucked if we go to war with Iraq. And because of our need to keep our moral high ground at the end of the war, there will be massive effort to keep civilian casualties virtually nonexistent. And yes, I hate war too. But I'd rather keep my lifestyle, and not lose oil until we don't need it. So sue me, I'm greedy. Think about it. Think about how fucked we are if Iraq does the doomsday thing mentioned before. viable threat.
