Subject: Name of an Italian Restaurant

Hi- I am trying to think of the name of a famous Italian restaurant on Foster Avenue somewhere between ralph Ave and Remsen Ave. It was in a free standing building across from the Terminal Market.
Please help.
It is driving me crazy.

Yes it was Nina's and it was on East 86th and Foster Avenue. I lived on that street. It had the best eggplant parmigiana I've ever tasted in my entire life.

A couple of doors down was another restaurant named Ciro's, but Nina's was a bit better, no offense to those who ran Ciro's, where we used to buy pizzas.

Hey Cliff!

I'm trying real hard to help you out, but I have been away from Home since 1983. I'm 41, graduated South Shore High 1982, and the least I can tell you is that it's not the Arch Diner...oh, that was at the corner of Ralph & Flatlands. There were SO many restaurants, it's no wonder you can't remember...I guess it'll still be driving ya crazy! Hope you're having fun...cherish those Canarsie memories, there wasn't no place else like it in the world!!!
