Subject: [Info] Inde OBA: Will you be going to this years Reunion?

Our AGM and Reunion (being the 21st) will soon be upon us, it's that time of year to remind those of you who are still considering going, you have only until the 15th May if you would like to book for the 'Lunch' and/or the 'Evening Dinner'.

The reunion is all day on Saturday 5th June and kicks off with OB's meeting in the morning at the Carreg Bran Hotel. If you are to visit the Old School please meet us at the Carreg Bran Hotel car park by 11:00 latest to be down at the School by 11:30 sharp. This is so that we can register you and your guests, to keep the MOD happy! Then it's back to the hotel for a light lunch before our AGM, the AGM starts at 14:30 or thereabouts. In the evening the Reunion Dinner is 19:30 for 20:00, carriages at Midnight, partners and guests are as always very welcome.

For Lunch and Dinner, please send a cheque for £16 per person made payable to the 'Indefatigable OBA' to Spencer Bell at :
365 Bushey Mill Lane , Bushey, Herts. WD23 2AH.

(If you can only make lunch, please forward £5 to cover, also to Spencer's address)

LATEST BOOKINGS BY 15th MAY.

Those of you who are now unable to attend this year and who made a reservation at The Carreg Bran Hotel at last years reunion, please confirm your cancellation direct with the hotel. The Hotel is now fully booked!
(Carreg Bran Hotel : Tel 01248 714224)

Others may like to try the following accommodation, if looking for somewhere to stay;

Victoria Hotel, Menai Bridge : 01248 712309
Anglesey Arms Hotel, : 01248 712305
Penrhos Arms, Llanfairpwll : 01248 714892

If transport to the reunion is a problem, we will find out if someone local to you is coming, and arrange a car share for you. Sharing the cost will make it easier for others to come. The Inde Spirit is still very much alive, part of that Spirit is to help, care and give assistance, whenever the need should arise.

If you would like to see this years AGENDA prior the AGM, I would be glad to forward and attach for those of you that have Microsoft WORD.
(Note: This will be sent out on final approval by the OBA Committee)

We hope to see, if not hear from many of you soon.
Replies gratefully received.

PS. A BIG FAVOUR. I need your help, I don't suppose any of you have got any OBA Newsletters pre 1995? I need to lend to The Rev. Bob Evans for the purposes of research for the new book. We are looking for newsletters from when the OBA was founded in 1983 up until 1995, from 1995 I have given to him my own collection, unfortunately I threw away anything prior to 1995.

The NEW Book of the Life and Times of the INDEFATIGABLE is being written by The Rev Canon B. Evans, sponsored by the Missions to Seamen Liverpool. The Book will be possibly dedicated to the late Sir Derek Bibby and to commemorate the Indefatigable Old Boys Associations 21st Anniversary, being this year. The Rev Bob has asked me to be his contact for the book. All contributions are being considered, he has a lot of the facts BUT he has requested more fiction, in other words, now's the time to be famous... To get this off the ground, we request your participation - stories you may have already sent in to us before however long or short, or maybe you just want to get something off your chest after all those years, go on!!

The book is coming along great, he's on page 200 without pictures.
