Hi Spiv,

To be honest I do not recall your name but I was in Rodney Div No72 from 1949 untill 1952, I believe that you may have got some of the names of the officers wrong, the Skipper and Chief were right but the others were I believe :- Doodie, Edwards Jones (school master) Bellamy Jones (school master) Strong (band master) French (signals) he died and a young guy took his place and wore his cap like a nazi sub commander, Griffiths he smoked Amlych shag, Roberts the carpenter and the cook was Fearnet. I think that was the lot.
I was l/boy then P.O.boy and bugler and played at a couple of british leagion funerals at the local church fo half a crown.the first skipper when I first got there was Capt, Bambra, I remember some of the lads names but my finger aches so will not write there names down now.
Nice to see some one from my time there.

Regard Len Turpin 72.
