7. Would have sent the wrong message to Kim Jong Il: "If you don't have WMD, we won't attack."

8. Perle had been bragging to this girl about how we were going to attack and he would have looked like a real jerk if we didn't.

9. Negotiation is for people who know the horror of war.

10. It's not our fault the guy didn't know enough to go to the Department of State instead of the Department of Defense.

1. OVER 400 AMERICAN SOLDIERS KILLED AND THE COUNT GOES ON....

2. OVER 5000 YOUNG AMERICAN MEN AND WOMEN UNDER ORDERS FROM THEIR COMMANDER IN CHIEF (dubya) HAVE BEEN WOUNDED, MANY MAIMED FOR LIFE. THE COST BEYOND THE MISERY OF THESE INDIVIDUALS WILL BE TENS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN MEDICAL COSTS AND LOST PRODUCTIVITY OVER THE LIFETIMES OF THESE YOUNG PEOPLE AS THEY ADJUST TO A LIFE WITHOUT VARIOUS LIMBS OR OTHER PERMANENT HANDICAPS. WHEN THE IRAQI CONFLICT HAS BECOME A DISTANT MEMORY AND PERHAPS A MINOR ENTREE INTO HISTORY BOOKS MANY OF THESE INDIVIDUALS WILL STILL BE SUFFERING, PERHAPS WONDERING WHAT THEIR LIFE'S COULD HAVE BEEN IF dubya COULD HAVE FOUND A DIFFERENT WAY TO BOOST HIS EGO

3. YOUNG SOLDIERS FROM OTHERS COUNTRIES (so called coalition forces) WHOSE LEADERS PUT THEM IN HARMS WAY IN ORDER TO KISS dubya's ASS HAVE BEEN KILLED, WOUNDED AND MANY MAIMED FOR LIFE. THOSE INDIVIDUALS WHO RETURN TO THEIR HOMES WOUNDED PERHAPS WITH LESS ARMS, LEGS, EYES, EARS, FEET OR HANDS THEN THEY LEFT WITH WILL ENDURE A DIMINISHED LIFE. THE CITIZENS OF THOSE COUNTRIES WILL ALSO BEAR A HUGE FINANCIAL COST IN CARING FOR THEIR WOUNDED YOUTH AND FROM THE DECREASED CONTRIBUTIONS THESE YOUNG PEOPLE WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE TO THEIR SOCIETY.

4. THOUSANDS OF IRAQI CITIZENS, SOLDIERS AND CIVILIAN ALIKE, INCLUDING MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN HAVE DIED AS A RESULT OF dubya's WAR. TENS OF THOUSANDS HAVE SUFFERED WOUNDS OF A PHYSICAL NATURE MANY LOSING ARMS, LEGS, EYES, EARS, FEET AND HANDS, WOUNDS THAT THEY WILL HAVE TO ENDURE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THEIR LIFE'S. PERHAPS HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS HAVE BEEN SCARRED IN WAYS THAT CANNOT BE SEEN, AS THEY HAVE ENDURED THE LOSS OF LOVED ONES OR WATCHED THE CARNAGE LEFT BY AMERICAN BOMBS AND ORDINANCE.

5. The esteem and respect that most of the worlds population once felt towards the United States and it's citizens has been diminished by a degree never before seen since the birth of America. The majority of the worlds population who once looked at America with awe, and respect and even fondness now look upon America with fear and/or disgust and throughout most of the Muslim world unmitigated hatred.

The cost of the above is beyond measure both in terms of human suffering and economic costs that will be passed on to this generations children and perhaps even their children.

Thousands, hundreds of thousands have died been injured or will suffer one way or another because dubya needed an ego boost - This particular form of ego booster shot is one which all aggressive tyrannical leaders seem to need and certainly this won't be the most expensive mankind has seen but it is certainly one which the world did not need and hopefully the dosage of this particular shot is sufficient to tide dubya over until hopefully his early retirement.

Hussein was and is an evil man, an evil leader who ruled with an iron hand and thought nothing of torturing and executing the citizens of his own country. Ask the Iraqi people today if they are better off now that America has occupied their country, few will give you a positive answer. In the near future as the ancient ethnic and tribal and religious hatreds that are already appearing become more pronounced and Iraq follows the footsteps of Bosnia and thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Iraqi's kill other Iraqi's or are murdered by their fellow Iraqi's and former neighbors, ask then if they are better off because of America's involvement in their country.

Hussein was an evil tyrant guilty of the most heinous crimes - BUT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN LEFT TO THE IRAQI PEOPLE TO REMOVE HIM AND REGARDLESS OF HIS MILITARY MIGHT, SECRET POLICE AND WHATEVER OTHER METHODS HE USED TO CONTROL THE POPULACE - HE WOULD HAVE BEEN REMOVED BY THE IRAQI PEOPLE WHEN THEY HAD FINALLY HAD ENOUGH OF HIS TYRANNY - IT IS NOT NOW NOR HAS IT EVER BEEN THE JOB OR THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE UNITED STATES AND IT'S CITIZENS TO DECIDE WHO SHOULD OR SHOULD NOT LEAD OTHER COUNTRIES.

IF THESE TYRANNICAL DESPOTS WITHOUT PROVOCATION MARCH PAST THEIR OWN BORDERS AND JEOPARDIZE THE CITIZENS OF OTHER SMALLER OR WEAKER COUNTRIES THEN IT BECOMES THE RIGHT EVEN THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY  TO STEP IN, INITIALLY WITH DIPLOMACY AND IF THAT IS NOT SUFFICIENT WITH OVERWHELMING MILITARY POWER TO STOP THE AGGRESSION. THE MILITARY MIGHT OF A TRULY INTERNATIONAL FORCE (dubya's coalition in no way could be considered an international force) SHOULD BE USED IMMEDIATELY IF THE AGGRESSOR NATION DOES NOT RESPOND TO INTERNATIONAL DEMANDS TO WITHDRAW TO THEIR OWN INTERNATIONAL BOUNDARIES AND IT SHOULD BE DONE WITHOUT MONTHS OR YEARS OF COMMITTEES AND RESOLUTIONS OR ECONOMIC SANCTIONS.

ONLY WHEN ALL LEADERS AND POLITICIANS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD BELIEVE ABSOLUTELY THAT INTERNATIONAL AGGRESSION WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND THAT IF THEY ARE SO INCLINED TO MISBEHAVE THAT THERE WILL BE NO REWARD BUT INSTEAD THE COST WILL BE EXTREME AS THEIR BEHAVIOR IS PUNISHED WITH THE OVERWHELMING MIGHT OF THE REST OF THE WORLD, THEN AND ONLY THEN WILL SUCH BEHAVIOR WHICH HAS BEEN A BLIGHT ON MANKIND THROUGHOUT IT'S HISTORY STOP.

IT IS NOT HIS RIGHT NOR IS IT THE RIGHT OF AMERICANS TO DECIDE OR INFLICT A PARTICULAR FORM OF GOVERNMENT ON THE CITIZENS OF OTHER COUNTRIES. IN THE CURRENT CONFLICT IF ANYONE IS IN VIOLATION OF INTERNATIONAL LAW AND HAS FLAGRANTLY VIOLATED THE RIGHTS OF ANOTHER STATE IT IS THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES AND NOT THE TYRANT HUSSEIN.

OF HALLIBURTON OR EVEN THE PREVIOUS C.E.O., VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES DICK CHENEY IF THEY HAVE SEEN A POSITIVE RESULT OF THIS WAR. ASK THE EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF NUMEROUS OTHER MILITARY / INDUSTRIAL CONGLOMERATES (THE MAJORITY OF WHICH HAVE FOR MANY YEARS HAD VERY CLOSE TIES TO THE BUSH AND CHENEY CLANS) IF THEIR BOTTOM LINES HAVE BEEN GREATLY IMPROVED BY THE TAX PAYERS OF THE UNITED STATES.....

COMPETITIVE BIDDING FOR BILLIONS IN CONTRACTS .... are you kidding??? why bother when it is so much easier to just fleece the sheep (AMERICAN TAX PAYING CITIZENS) who become pathetically stupid whenever a flag is waved in front of their faces. Apparently America has had much too big a middle class - and dubya is doing his best to rearrange the wealth as with his trillion dollar plus tax cuts 10 % of which will go to the average working guy - the other 90% go to dubya's buddies the wealthiest 5% of the nations populace ---

You have to give the guy credit - he rips America off without any concern for the future generations which will have to pay back his horrendous debt - he rapes the treasury and gives the proceeds to HIS CLASS OF CITIZENS (MOST OF WHOM WERE BORN WITH THE PROVERBIAL SILVER SPOON IN THEIR MOUTHS) AND HE MANAGES TO CONVINCE HALF THE POPULATION THAT HE IS DOING IT FOR THEIR OWN GOOD!!
