January 22nd will be the 2nd anniversary of my sisters death....

When she died, we had two laywers we knew.....say they would look into her death because a 33 year old women should not die from a heart attack esp. when she is under doctors care.

So we decided to let one of the lawyers do it.....because the law firm he work for deals with that kinda stuff....not him, but his firm....so he sent everything to the firms home office in Denver. He also sent it out to a friend who works at another firm out of state (I believe)....he wanted to get two opinions.

Here almost two years later they got back to him.....and he got back to use. It finds out that there WAS neglect on the doctors part.....there were things that could, "SHOULD" have been done which would have prevented her death. It's not like it was one thing....there were several things he should have done....and several things that he should have known by just doing to routine check up. My sister tried and tried to tell him (weeks before she died) that something was wrong but he kept saying she was ok.

The lawyer said that we could sue....but in cases like this it is a 50/50 chance....which we said that is better then no chance at all. The he told us if we did sue....that the lawyer fees....just to get the ball rolling would cost us a minimum of $40,000 - $50,000 and it would probably take years...and the lawyer fees will just keep adding up.

So here we have a doctor who doesn't give a crap about his patients and is still able to practice!!!.....it is f*cking crap!!!

I am just sooooo........F*CKING mad right now!!! ...... knowing that if this doctor would have just did his damn job.....my sister would be alive!!!

I know most of you guys/gals don't know me!!....I am just posting this on all the boards I go to....most of which are ones that I only really lurk at.

But I just wanted to tell everyone...that if you have a illness or you need to go to a doctor...make sure s/he is doing everything possible for you. If you don't think s/he is....go get a 2nd or even a 3rd opinion....and if your insurance won't cover it...pay for it yourself. Which I know most people don't have the money for that. But it is better to loose money then to loose your life because your doctor is incompetent!!

Sorry for rambling!!!...just had to say something.
