"So," Wednesday ventured, smoothly transitioning from thought to conversation, "This...Red Queen, she is not human. Nor are the majority of the creature's that call this land home, I'd imagine--It is of no consequence, either way. She is the only reigning figurehead here?"

In truth, Wednesday was not at all certain where "here" was. It's ramblings took it off and away to places to which it held no allegiance or familiarity. Wednesday had once again managed to pickle itself, but one wouldn't think this whence looking at it, this slender, cold creature of grace and negativity. Perhaps it was only curious, perhaps it had something less innocent in mind. Who can say?]]=-
