] Date Posted: 23:08:34 01/12/03 Sun Whats up all? It is the shits that TD.com is not up anymore... Anyway, if anyone can help, please reply. I have an Omni GLH-T that i did a custom intercooler setup to. I re welded the intake manifold properly, etc, and i have the IC hooked up, and the car runs. It will start promptly, and it will idle. However, when i jump on the gas, the car seems like it stumbles, and it is reluctant to rev as quickly as it should. Also, it is running VERY rich. When i pull the plugs, they are black, not pretty. I have checked all of the vacuum lines, tried another computer, replaced the EGR valve, the solenoid as well. I have even installed a new throttle body that i pulled off of an automatic T1. Could the sensors be differant from the manual? Also, the PCV valve is not hooked up to the intake tube. I have an extra fuel pressure regulator that i am going to try. The car seems like it has very little power as well, since it is so reluctant to rev. BTW, the timing is spot on. Anyone have any ideas? -Aston [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

Date Posted: 23:21:40 01/12/03 Sun I have an idea. What did you make your plumbing out of? How much rubber hose, etc.? The reason I'm asking is that on a draw through T1, if you use too much rubber hose, it has a tendancy to suck shut when the engine is not in boost.A big restriction like this could be responsible for the rich condition too. Just a wild guess, but I thought I'd mention it just in case. HTH, Tony [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
