She's doing really good now. The cast is a pain in her ass, since they didn't do it with her knee bent at the usual cast angle, so her foot is always touching the floor. She can't swing it like you're supposed to. We have to tag along and slide her foot for her. Thank God it comes off in two weeks.

She's glad to be home, and is a lot perkier than I'd be in the circumstances. We'll be homeschooling for a couple of weeks until the cast is off, maybe longer if they can get her teeth somewhat fixed in a reasonable amount of time, since she dreads going to school with missing teeth. I have a pic of her from the hospital that I'll stick up soon.

Pam

I've only started looking at the Mantel again recently. I've posted there occasionally under another name in recent times.
There were some reasons involving a couple of people from DP that I didn't go there at the beginning, but it was also that I needed to catch up on work for a while. IS ended at a good time for me. I was starting to have to devote a lot of work time to it at a time when I was dealing with too many other things. Now that things are better, and I am no longer moderator, I'm popping in occasionally. Kevin is doing a fine job as the moderator of the IS like symposium. He was among the people that I had suggested, so I feel it's in very good hands. Paula and I had actually been discussing the possibility of my taking a leave of absence as moderator of IS before she decided to take the board down.
Now as an ordinary guy, rather than 'staff' I try to check once a day and see what's going on over there and occasionally contribute.
