Subject: How is everyone? What's new? My tractor's fine!

I haven't been by here in ages (so much for being a conscientious board owner LOL). I notice that it seems to have turned into the Mark7 political forum, so I'm going to try to get some more topics going. Lots of stuff going on here for us.

We're in the process of buying 11 gorgeous acres in the country, with a fantastic canyon running right through it. It has a LOT of grass, tall grass, and my husband decided that 11 acres and a riding mower just didn't cut it, so he bought a tractor and blade for mowing. It won't go through closing until after wheat harvest (the farmer has a current crop of wheat planted on a small section we're buying), so for now the tractor is in our back yard. Jack HAD to test it out, and I'm sure the neighbors think we're insane for buying a big ass tractor and box blade to mow our postage stamp size yard. LMAO. I've posted a few pics of the property at http://www.quickdecor.com/pictures.html you can click on them to view a bigger image. We'll eventually build a house out there, a Frank Lloyd Wright style split level with lots of glass and decks overlooking the canyon. For now, it's going to be a weekend place, we'll move some sort of travel trailer out there so we can spend nights out there on weekends and holidays. I'm already test driving horses, haven't found any that appeal yet. :)

Congrats on the new property and new TRACTOR!!! What a hoot, I can just see your neighbors. *LOL* Your pictures are great. I'll have to come over and see this wonderful piece of paradise. I have a brand spankin new car now, so I know I won't have car troubles between my house and yours. Just need to talk with boss and get some time off at the job and get my butt on down there. My hubby can visit with you about horses. *LOL*

That will be great. I still haven't forgiven John for accepting that big job last time you were supposed to come. Bah, how could he have put a couple of grand before visiting us? LOL. Shelbey is dying for you to come, she really wants to talk art with you. If I sent you a copy of every picture she's drawn and said "send this to Kim", you'd have enough to wallpaper your entire house. It's so weird, she's never talked to you or emailed you, and she absolutely adores you (and Josh). Probably because you make such a fuss over her. All I hear is "did you tell Kim? What did she say"? And that gallon of cheese sauce impressed the hell out of her. My God, Kim has FOOD CONNECTIONS!! Impressed the hell out of me too, actually. LOL. I was so disappointed when you guys closed the restaurant and I lost my source of bulk food.

a few connections. *LOL* Just make a list and let me know what you want, I'll talk with my guys and see what I can do.

Send me all the pictures of Shelbey's that you want. I would love it!!! I can say, when she is famous and rich, I have some of her first works of art!! That girl is so talented. I would love to visit (in person) with your whole family!! They have become such a part of my own, it is as if we live right next to each other.

When we get there, I'm not drinking your pop, I'll bring cheese sauce (by the gallons) and my own coffee. LOL

I loved the pictures of the land. A Prairie Style home would look gorgeous on that site. I've had the opportunity to tour some of the houses that Frank Lloyd Wright designed, and they are fantastic.

When it is time to design your home let me know. My BIL specializes in designing Praire Style and Arts and Crafts Homes.

How cool! Thanks for the offer! Of course, at the rate we actually get things done around here, it will probably end up being a retirement home. LMAO
